[24.25] MC NST Roles

What does NST stand for?

NST stands for National Support Team, which is a role given to AIESEC members who express an interest in supporting entities, implementing strategies, or achieving national goals. NST members typically have specialized roles, focusing on areas such as talent management, finance, marketing, operations, or specific AIESEC programs like exchange or leadership development.

Their primary function is to provide guidance, resources, and support to the active MC Team by developing Local Committees (LCs) across the country, ensuring alignment with the national strategy and fostering collaboration among LCs to drive AIESEC’s overall impact and success.

Why have JDs and Structures?

So that everyone within AIESEC knows what is expected of them, and what are their work measurables. So that everyone knows what the others within the LC are doing, and how they can help each other. So that all our members have a network of people who are doing the same as them throughout the country.

JDs and Structures per area

Go to the pages of your area. Understand the recommended structure for your LC according to the operational volume or other variables. Take a look at the JDs of your position and the other positions in your area.

If in doubts, ask your respective MCVPs.
