History

AIESEC in United Arab Emirates opened its doors to the youths in UAE in 2001 as an interest group. This interest group was born during IC 2001, which was held in Bern, Switzerland. The AIESEC world was surprised, shocked, and excited because UAE was the first country from this region to be in AIESEC. Thanks to the pioneering work of Khalil Bachooali (MC team member of India). A group of 5 young individuals (Saleh, Suhail, Muhammad, Lalith, and Khalil) work together out of the library of the American University of Dubai where they manage to register themselves as the official delegates of AIESEC in UAE during the IC 2022, which was held in Calgary, Canada.

AIESEC in UAE consists of several LCs in the past, although some might have survived others didn't manage to see the light of today.

Performance History

International Exchange Projects

Our core mission is to contribute to a world without conflicts, discrimination, or international barriers. We do that through our international volunteering or internship exchanges.

Incoming Exchange - we partner with local NGOs (for volunteering opportunities) or companies (for internship opportunities) and bring internationals to UAE.

Outgoing Exchange - we send local youth all over the world to volunteer or get job experience.
