Aarav pradhan is a Youth Ambassador of Azraq, a UAE grassroots marine conservation organisation.
As Founder of Ampuz, Ayla has used her background in sustainability to fuse the worlds of tech and sustainability to create a solution that helps organizations measure and report on their impact. She assists companies, universities, charities execute best practices in line with their values, impact areas, national priorities while minimizing their reputation risk and legal liabilities.
"If it were easy, it would have been done"; so long as this remains the driving philosophy in her work ethic, she will continue to strive to preserve the engineering marvel of air travel while protecting the environment; the unrepeated magic and wonderment of flight, with a deep-rooted concern for the planet.
After more than 9 years working as a Communicator across the world, in 2016 she decided to focus more on her family and her children. That’s when sustainability hit her, realizing that our current actions are compromising the future generations’ needs.

Ruwaya Al Mehrzi is a chemical engineer graduate from the University of Manchester ( passionate about sustainability and environment )
Dr. Sahar Issa holds a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Management from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. Her research focused on the impacts of environmental degradation, as caused by recurring episodes of armed conflict, on communities’ vulnerabilities in north Lebanon. She also holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology and a Master of Sciences degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Balamand in Lebanon.
Sahar worked as a lecturer at the University of Balamand and the Saint Joseph University of Beirut as well as an independent environmental consultant providing consultancy and technical support for different national and international institutions.
Sara Mamoun Almarzooqi is an aspiring renewable energy engineer garnering experience in research, problem-solving, and public speaking by partaking in various national programs and competitions; with the goal of using her STEM background to encourage social change.
As the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Coco Veda Singapore Pte Ltd (which is a Social Enterprise listed on Singapore’s semi-government-supported raiSE platform), she is taking a leadership role to grow and expand the business internationally. Her mission at Coco Veda is to amplify impact and bridge inequalities across all sectors of Society with Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships.
Goumbook is one of the oldest Social Enterprises in the UAE and today it manages different projects such as SustainableMena, a business directory dedicated to promoting sustainable products and services in the region; the Give a Ghaf Tree Planting Program, the only tree planting initiative of the GCC with over 75,000 seeds planted in the past 9 years, and the Drop It - Rethink Plastic campaign to help businesses and individuals stop using single-use plastic.
He worked previously as an environmental researcher, Teaching Assistant, and professional tutor. Currently, Yazan works as Market Forecaster and Integrator at the Independent Electricity Systems Operator. He is also a research assistant at the Transportation and Air Quality Research Group at the University of Toronto. He is the president of the Sustainable Engineers Association, Founder and President of the Ambassadors of Tolerance Program, Operational Director at the Green Student Association, and a Future Sustainability Leader at Masdar.
Zeena Assaf is a recent graduate of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah with a Bachelor of Architecture and a current member of the FSL program. She is highly interested in SDG 4, which is concerned with making high-quality education accessible to all.
